Halloween

Who hasn't ever wanted to make your own Halloween costumes?  I've always wanted to give it a try, so when Katelyn wanted to be Tinker Bell the idea just snowballed.  May I introduce:
Katelyn as Tinker Bell
Ethan as Peter Pan
Abby as Tiger Lily
Dave as Captain Hook
and
Me as Wendy
The kids had so much fun in their costumes.  If you want to make a Peter Pan costume, go here.  Tinker Bell was a modge podge of different ideas.  Captain Hook and Tiger Lily were my own creation, but with the same idea as Peter Pan with some extra frills.  I found my Wendy nightgown at the DI for $3.  Awesome.  Honestly, my mom almost passes out when I tell her that I enjoy sewing (some things).  Who would'a thought?

Katelyn wasn't so excited to party in this picture.  Abby sure enjoyed eating hers though.  Mmmm.  Ethan insisted that we call him Peter when he was in his costume.  They were adorable.  :)

Here's my brother Scott with his adorable son Ben and my Ethan.  Scott and Ben are monsters from Monsters Inc.
Look!  They're smiling!  Of course they are... they are going to get tons of candy in just a minute!
Candy, candy, candy!  The trick or treating loot.
Ethan is growing!  He's growing right out of his PJ's, so after he insisted on wearing his 18 month shorts and t-shirt pj's last night (he's actually in 2T), we bought him these more winter-friendly PJ's.  If you've ever seen Dinosaur Train, you'll recognize his buddy, Buddy.
What could be better than a box?  They had so much fun jumping in it and laughing.  Oh, and you have to check out his adorable bed with his stuffed animals that he puts under the covers when he and Katelyn make their beds in the morning.  So cute!
