Calling all moms with 2 or more
I am looking for a double stroller. :) So, here's my wishlist. We have small cars so we looking at an umbrella stroller (compact, but that still has a basket, cupholders, etc.) AND can fit a carseat. If you have any suggestions, I'd LOVE to hear them. Looked at the twin Combi... don't love it, but if you do, let me know. Thanks ladies!

Get the baby backpack.
I am getting the McClaren. My friend who has twins, loves it! I am getting the single. It is a little more pricey but from what I have heard it lasts long and is worth every penny!
Check out your local Kid-to-Kid (that's where I got our double stroller practically brand new for $40. Or check Craigslist. I brought my carseat along to see if it would fit in the back part of the stroller and it did :)
McClaren is the way to go. It doesn't fit a car seat but you just can't beat the small amount of space it takes up. Last spring costco had the double in stock. The thing I love about it is the kids can still fit comfortably in it. My friend across the street loves the sit and stand stroller!
I found the Baby Trend Sit and Stand LX at Target on clearance for $60.00. I folded it down and everything and it laid as flat as our single stroller does. I was worried about McKayla getting off of the seat in the back and running around the store but the back seat has a buckle as well. SWEET!! Good luck with finding one :)
I've been courting the Phil and Ted one myself. It folds down pretty good, and I IMAGINE you can fit a car seat in it. To me that's a MUST. Remember Jen Petty's orange one? That's a Phil and Ted stroller. They're pricey though...but I'm sure you can find one on Craig's list. Personally, since your little gal is so young (like Mateus will be when BB Brown #2 is born) I think that investing in a good stroller is well worth the mulah.
It's so good to hear from you! Thanks for posting on my blog. I had no idea that you were expecting a boy! WOW! Wonder what you'll name him. Well, I send you all my love! Talk to you later and I miss ya!

Ok...so I've been doing more research (because I really want a good stroller too...) so I thought I'd share. The Valco Twin stroller and the Mountain Buggy Twin stroller are very similar to the Phil and Teds Twin stroller I was telling you about. They have my wish list: They fold down pretty small (google any brand + "twin stroller" + "folded down" under google images and you'll see what I mean). I'm pretty darn sure it will fit a carseat inside, and it's a good jogging one (and I know you Loooove to jog). They're supper expensive, but I have seen good deals pop up here and there on ebay and craig's list. We just weren't ready to buy it at the time... Jason's pretty cool with getting one that expensive because I drove my last one to the ground with all the jogging and going-around that I did with that one. I'd love to know what you get...so post about it! :)
Use www.mystrollers.com...you can compare strollers and they ship for free. I like my Phil & Ted's--but it did not fit in the trunk of my Ford Focus w/out taking the wheels off. What I do like: car seat can go in it, from age 0 you can also use the seat (it lays practically flat). That's the hard thing w/ the umbrella type strollers...a lot of them the child needs to be able to sit up or close to it. Good luck!!
