Five teeth and stairs!

I laughed in shock this morning when I noticed Katelyn's toothy grin is becoming more toothy. Can you believe it? Five teeth in that little mouth! The top two showed up right before our move to Utah, which is about the same time that we discovered the calming, painless affects of baby Tylenol. Thank heavens. She felt much better. So did we. Today, she sprouted another bottom tooth and has been playing with it (and chewing on everything) ever since.

Also, I haven't caught a video yet, but I gave Katelyn some stair climbing lessons. She was a quick learner and after keeping her sippy cup just one step above her reach, and as her little hands gripped the long carpet to help her up, she made it to the top! Good girl.

Our two year anniversary!!

Happy anniversary to my sweetheart! Marrying you was the best decision I've ever made. I'm a pretty lucky girl. While Dave and I spent some time in Park City, Katelyn had a wonderful time playing with Dave's sister Jenny. Katelyn loves to play outside and Jenny was so good to let her stay out there almost the whole time. She even moved the high chair out to the porch when she ate! Katelyn loved it! And she loved the horses, swings and slide that was in their backyard!

Disneyland!!

Dave got a little surprise for graduation two weeks ago. We went to Disneyland!! We went last week before we moved and had a wonderful time!! Katelyn enjoyed watching all the kids, seeing the bright colors in Toon Town, and taking lots of naps in her stroller. She wasn't too fond of the Dumbo ride, but she did just fine on Pirates of the Carribean (she had to hold my hand), the scary Snow White ride and Roger Rabbit. Since Dave and I are roller coaster lovers (the taller and faster, the better) we used the ride switcher pass to go on Space Mountain, and the roller coaster ride and Tower of Terror at CA Adventure.

Oooo, I like your dress Minnie.

Who is this guy?

I wanted to buy this little Mickey for Dave since it sums up the reason for our trip, but we decided that a picture was much cheaper.

She's getting tired, but she sure was cute in her Minnie ears!! We were having a blast seeing Disneyland through Katelyn's eyes. Or trying to. We felt like kids because it was such a happy place! Music everywhere and I'll admit, I love seeing the princesses.

Dave's a Thunderbird Graduate!

He did it! Congratulations to my wonderful husband who survived his rigorous schedule from the past year of classes, studying, tests and stress. He graduated from Thunderbird on Friday and as you can see, Katelyn wanted to join him as he took the walk to receive his diploma. She was so adorable and we were so lucky to find her little cap and gown. I could tell Dave was so excited to have her with him because he just couldn't stop smiling and if he had buttons, they'd be popping. My two kids. :)

Dave and Katelyn right after walking across the stage. Katelyn's just pondering the significance of the moment.Right after walking... she was tired. I'm happy she's sleeping.
Dave, right before graduation. He's wearing his hood and his campus ambassador medal.
Dave and most of the Thunderbird students that are LDS. What a great group! Thanks to Jen for the picture.
Same group of students with their families. I'll miss the play groups with this wonderful ladies and adorable kids!
My wonderful parents came down to support Dave. We had so much fun with them! Especially Katelyn. I had a dream she could say grandma and grandpa. It didn't really happen, but we'll keep working with her. :) Dave's parents would have been there in a second, but they are still in Samoa. They'll be home soon though!!We went to dinner with Dave's second "fam" from Thunderbird. Veebs, Bell and Candice were there with their families from NY and the Philippines. (Bell's family was still in Thailand.) Cody was busy being a brand new dad so we missed having Nicole and him with us. Caroline has already graduated and is working in Austria for J&J. Congrats to the graduates and the new parents!!
